OUR INSTRUCTORS
HATHA with Linda
Linda is a master student at Imperial, with a great passion for yoga practice. The asana practice is a way to allow yourself to take time to yourself and connect with your body, mind and breath. The classes are open to everyone, will focus on the classic asanas and give variations for every level. The sequence can be more dynamic or more soft, to adapt to each class.

VINYASA FLOW with Louisa
Louisa's classes are fun but challenging. Students will get both a good stretch and a sweaty workout! There is a different sequence every week, each flowing with the breath in a typical Vinyasa style. Louisa begins by warming up with sun salutations before progressing to standing poses, seated stretching poses, and ending with a well-deserved Savasana. This class is suitable for all levels. View her website.

VIKASA FLOW with Firda
This is a beginner/ intermediate class for those that want to be challenged! (Note that all poses can be modified where necessary). The lovely Firda is a Master's student at Imperial who describes Vikasa as follows:
Vikasa translates to ‘evolution’ in Sanskrit. It is a fitness based approach to yoga by connecting conscious breath with a vigorous and mindful flow.

MIXED YOGA with Katie
Katie is a Doctor and PhD student at Imperial who has been teaching yoga since 2018. She aims to spread the joy of yoga and educate her students on both the physical and mental health benefits of this practice, whilst honouring the roots of yoga. Her classes are a mix of asana, pranayama and yoga philosophy. She teaches Hatha, Vinyasa and Mandala Vinyasa classes which are open to all levels.

Katie teaches at Imperial's Hammersmith and St Mary's campuses. All abilities welcome. Style will vary according to demand.

IYENGAR YOGA with Nick (Triyoga)
Once started, I continued practising yoga avidly. I then decided to do my teacher training at the Iyengar Yoga Institute Maida vale in London and got my certificate in 2002. Since then I’ve been teaching full time in yoga studios, gyms, companies, community centres, privately, and I’ve been leading retreats near Bodrum in Turkey since 2005. I also run a weekly class at the Bonnington Centre in Vauxhall where I live.

Iyengar yoga focuses on precision and uses props such as belts and blocks to facilitate good alignment in postures. Postures are usually held longer than in other styles to allow students to explore them in more depth and breathe through them with a concentrated mind.
